Welcome to Paws & Pinecones. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain the rules that apply when you visit our website, place an order, or otherwise use our services.
Throughout these Terms, “Paws & Pinecones,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Paws & Pinecones.
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to offer our products and services to you.
By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. Using Our Website
By using our website or placing an order, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or place of residence, or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when placing an order or creating an account.
You are responsible for keeping your account information and login credentials secure.
You may not use our website or products for unlawful purposes or attempt to interfere with the operation or security of our website.
2. Our Products
Paws & Pinecones offers dog accessories and related products, including products that may be handmade, made to order, or personalized.
We do our best to photograph, describe, and display our products accurately. However, colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and individual devices.
Because some of our products are handmade or produced in small batches, slight variations in fabric placement, pattern positioning, stitching, embroidery, dimensions, or other details may occur. These small variations are part of the nature of handmade and individually produced pieces and are not necessarily considered defects.
Product availability, designs, materials, colors, and specifications may change without notice.
We reserve the right to discontinue products or limit quantities at any time.
3. Personalized & Custom Products
Select Paws & Pinecones products may be personalized with embroidery, names, or other custom details.
You are responsible for reviewing all personalization information before submitting your order, including:
- Names and spelling
- Letter capitalization
- Thread or color selections
- Size selections
- Placement or other available customization options
- Any special instructions submitted with your order
Personalization will generally be created using the information exactly as submitted unless the product listing states otherwise.
Please double-check everything before placing your order.
Paws & Pinecones is not responsible for errors resulting from personalization information incorrectly entered or selected by the customer.
If we make an error while creating your personalization, please contact us so we can make it right.
Custom and personalized products are subject to the final-sale provisions described in our Return & Refund Policy.
4. Orders
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase products from Paws & Pinecones.
We reserve the right to accept, decline, limit, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:
- Product availability
- Pricing or listing errors
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions
- Incomplete or unclear personalization information
- Orders we are unable to fulfill
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded.
Please review your order carefully before submitting it, particularly when purchasing personalized products.
5. Processing Times
Processing time is the time required for us to prepare your order before it is shipped.
Unless otherwise stated:
In-stock items: Please allow up to 5 business days for processing.
Made-to-order or currently out-of-stock items: Please allow approximately 8–12 business days for processing.
Custom embroidered items: Processing times vary depending on the product. The applicable processing time will be stated on the individual product page.
Business days do not include weekends or applicable holidays.
Processing times are separate from carrier transit times.
If an order contains products with different processing times, the order may be held until all items are ready to ship unless otherwise arranged.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping estimates shown at checkout refer to estimated carrier transit time after your order has completed processing unless expressly stated otherwise.
Carrier delivery dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed by Paws & Pinecones.
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery may be affected by weather, carrier disruptions, holidays, address issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
If a package is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, additional shipping charges may apply before the package can be resent.
If we determine that we cannot ship your order within an applicable promised shipment timeframe, we will handle the delay, cancellation options, and any required refund in accordance with applicable law.
7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Returns and exchanges for eligible non-custom, non-personalized items are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
Return or exchange requests must be made within the timeframe stated in that policy and must be approved by Paws & Pinecones before merchandise is sent back.
Custom and personalized items are generally final sale except where otherwise stated in our Return & Refund Policy or required by law.

8. Cancellations
If you need to request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible.
Orders that have already entered production, been personalized, or shipped generally cannot be canceled.
If we are able to cancel your order before production or fulfillment begins, we will let you know.
Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation or refund rights provided by applicable law, including rights that may arise when an order cannot be shipped within a promised timeframe.
9. Pet Product Safety
Paws & Pinecones products are intended to be used responsibly and under appropriate supervision.
Dog accessories, including bandanas, collars, bows, charms, and decorative accessories, should be regularly inspected for signs of wear, damage, loose components, or deterioration.
Please select products appropriate for your dog's size, behavior, and intended use.
Decorative accessories and detachable components are not toys and should not be chewed or ingested.
Never leave a dog unattended with an accessory if the product could present an entanglement, chewing, or ingestion risk.
Discontinue use immediately if an item becomes damaged or unsafe.
Unless a product is specifically described as appropriate for a particular restraint or safety purpose, decorative accessories should not be relied upon as safety equipment.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Pricing & Payment
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Prices, promotions, discounts, and product availability may change without notice.
The price charged will generally be the price displayed when your order is submitted, subject to correction of genuine errors as permitted by law.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other charges will be displayed during checkout where applicable.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information and represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order.
11. Promotions & Discount Codes
From time to time, Paws & Pinecones may offer sales, promotions, discount codes, or special offers.
Promotions may have additional terms, expiration dates, exclusions, minimum purchase requirements, or product limitations.
Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined.
Discounted merchandise is not automatically considered final sale. A product will only be treated as final sale when it is identified as such or otherwise falls within a final-sale category under our Return & Refund Policy.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotions as permitted by law.
12. Intellectual Property
The content of the Paws & Pinecones website, including our branding, logos, original artwork, product designs, photographs, graphics, written content, illustrations, and other creative materials, belongs to Paws & Pinecones or is used with permission from its respective owner and may be protected by intellectual property laws.
Our content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, modified, sold, or used commercially without prior written permission.
Purchasing one of our products does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property associated with the design.
13. Reviews, Photos & Customer Content
If you voluntarily submit a review, photograph, comment, testimonial, or other content to us or through features on our website, you represent that you have the right to submit that content.
Where permitted by applicable law and the terms presented when the content is submitted, you grant Paws & Pinecones permission to use submitted content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving our business.
We will not knowingly represent customer-submitted content as our own original photography.

Paws & Pinecones is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our online store and related services.
Purchases made through our store are transactions directly between you and Paws & Pinecones.
Shopify provides the ecommerce platform but is not the seller of Paws & Pinecones products.
Your use of Shopify-supported functionality may also be subject to applicable Shopify terms and privacy practices.

Information collected through our website is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Because our store is hosted by Shopify, certain information may also be processed by Shopify and other service providers that help us operate our store, process payments, fulfill orders, communicate with customers, and provide website functionality.
